Through three development programs for female engineering students, the recruitment company CoGig annually identifies talent in leadership, IT/tech and technology. A collaboration between CoGig and leadership developer Anna Landegren at Nya Ledarskapet is now starting with the aim of strengthening young women at the beginning of their careers.
Recruitment company CoGig has given hundreds of female engineers a kick-start in their careers, via the three annual development programs Female Leader Engineer, Female Technical Engineer and Female Digital Engineer. The programs are aimed at final-year students at all the country's technical colleges and universities. The aim is to identify and make visible female engineers as role models in leadership, IT/tech and technology to create a platform where students and Swedish technology companies can network and challenge and create awareness about gender equality.
CoGig and Anna Landegren at Nya Ledarskapet will start a collaboration in 2023 where Anna will hold a personal coaching program for the person who is appointed as the Female X Engineer of the year in the respective development program.
"Being rooted in leadership naturally creates motivation, impact and sustainability," says Anna Landegren at Nya Ledarskapet. "I look forward to contributing to CoGig's important mission and developing these stars further."
"We are very happy to collaborate with New Leadership and Anna, who is an experienced leader and expert in personal leadership," says Lena Larsson, CEO of CoGig. "It feels valuable to be able to offer support to young women at the beginning of their careers, not least as they are likely to work at technology-heavy and male-dominated companies."
The program is carried out in collaboration with a number of partner companies: Alfa Laval, Apotea, Assa Abloy, Astra Zeneca, Atlas Copco, Boliden, Epidemic Sound, Ericsson, Fortum, Holmen, Husqvarna Group, Kone, LKAB, Mycronic, Northvolt, Rejlers, Sandvik, Scania , Schneider Electric, Skanska, SSAB, Stora Enso, Xylem.
