APPLICATION OPENS FOR FEMALE LEADER ENGINEER 2024: STRENGTHENING EQUALITY IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS IN THE TECHNOLOGY SECTOR

The Application Period for Female Leader Engineer 2024 is Now Open!

We are looking for driven female engineering students in the final stages of their master’s degree who want to maximize their potential and business network. Our mission is to enhance participants’ leadership skills and contribute to more equitable representation in leadership positions within the industry.


Female Leader Engineer offers a unique opportunity to network with some of Sweden's most influential industrial companies. Through exclusive company visits and meetings with our partner companies – Afry, Ericsson, Fortum, KONE, NKT, Sandvik, Scania, Skanska, Sodexo, Stora Enso, and Nya Ledarskapet – participants gain a deeper understanding of these companies’ operations and workplace cultures.


Selected participants will receive personal contact with the partner companies during the fall of 2024. This not only provides valuable insights into the companies but also creates priceless networking opportunities for their future careers. The program culminates in a grand gala, where one participant who has particularly stood out will be awarded the title of Female Leader Engineer of the Year. The winner will also receive an exclusive opportunity to participate in a self-leadership program with Nya Ledarskapet, guided by Anna Landegren, further enhancing their leadership capabilities for the future.


The partnership between the program and the participating companies is key. For the participants, it offers a unique chance to deeply connect with potential employers, while for the companies, the program provides an invaluable opportunity to identify and recruit future leaders from Sweden’s top technical universities.
