At Schneider Electric, we are passionate about creating sustainable, intelligent environments where technology improves everyday life.We are now looking for an Expert Technical Support Engineer (Level 3) to join our global Digital Buildings support organisation.
In this role, you will contribute to solving complex technical challenges that help customers operate critical building systems smoothly and efficiently.
About the role
You will work with advanced escalations related to Building Management Systems (BMS) used in large facilities worldwide.Together with regional teams, partners and R&D colleagues, you will:
investigate and resolve complex technical issues
analyse system behaviour across protocols, databases and operating systems
share insights and guidance that support customer success
contribute to continuous improvement of products and support processes
This role combines deep technical problem-solving with meaningful collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Your background
We believe people bring valuable experience in many ways. You may recognise yourself in several of the following:
experience from advanced technical support, system integration or engineering within automation / BMS / SCADA
familiarity with distributed technical environments and system troubleshooting
knowledge of communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, KNX, ZigBee or similar
experience working with operational databases (e.g. SQL Server or equivalent)
confidence working in Windows and/or Linux environments
experience supporting customers or internal teams in technically complex situations
ability to communicate technical information clearly in English

Additional experience that can be helpful
background with BMS vendors such as Siemens, Johnson Controls or Schneider Electric
commissioning or advanced system integration experience
simulation or test-environment troubleshooting
exposure to containerisation or virtualisation
collaboration with product development or R&D teams
