COGIG AND MUNTERS WANT TO SEE MORE WOMEN IN TECH

FEMALE TECH ENGINEER

Munters has chosen to become a partner company to the Female Tech Engineer development program run by the recruitment company CoGig, with the aim of getting more women involved in developing the systems and products of the future in tech. In tech, there is a problem of few women and more and more companies are working to change that image. Part of the problem is the challenge of finding and attracting women, and CoGig can contribute there via its network of female engineers as well as development programs and recruitment services.

Female Tech Engineer is a development program for female and non-binary engineering students at the end of their degree, with the primary aim of inspiring more women and non-binary people to work in tech. The program is a unique meeting place for engineering students and Swedish companies. Through an extensive program with, among other things, exclusive, tailored visits to the partner companies, the 40 selected participants get a deeper understanding of the companies' operations and the opportunity to discover all the exciting jobs that are available in tech.

"Innovation forms the backbone of Munters and our technology is everywhere in society, such as in data centers, wind power and food production. Diversity is a success factor and therefore skilled female engineers are welcomed, not only at Munters but throughout the tech industry," says Henrik Teiwik, President of AirTech and Group Vice President, Munters Group.

Munters joins the program with the already existing partner companies Husqvarna Group, Mycronic and Nasdaq. The companies represent a wide range but have in common that they all realize the importance of gender equality.

"I wish Munters a warm welcome to the program and look forward to contributing together to a more equal business life by attracting more women to roles in tech," says Lena Larsson, CEO at CoGig.

The next round of the program starts at the end of this year and ends with a gala in March 2024 when one of the participants is named the Female Tech Engineer of the year and receives a personal development program via Anna Landegren and the New Leadership.
