OUR TALENT PROGRAMS

CoGig's talent programs, Female Leader Engineer Sweden , Female Tech Engineer Sweden , Female Technical Engineer Sweden and Female Leader Engineer Finland , are free development programs for female engineering students at the end of their education.
For a few months, you get to follow leading employers, meet engineers who work in the industry, and discover what working life is actually like - far beyond job advertisements and company websites.
The programs combine company visits, workshops, networking and real-life meetings with people already working in technology and industry at our partner companies.
Every year we select around 100 students spread across the different programs who then become part of CoGig's growing network of female engineers.

Being part of one of CoGig’s talent programs is about much more than visiting companies. Over the course of several months, you’ll get to explore some of the Nordic region’s leading employers, meet engineers working in the industry, and discover what working life is really like behind the scenes.
At the same time, you’ll build relationships with other ambitious engineering students from universities across Sweden or Finland. You’ll grow together, share experiences, and become part of a network that continues long after the program has ended.
For us, it’s not about a single event or career fair – it’s a journey where you get to explore different career paths, gain new perspectives, and build connections with both companies and like-minded students that can open doors to thesis projects, trainee positions, future jobs, and other opportunities.

As an alum, you become part of CoGig’s growing network of female engineers. Each year, around 100 new participants join, allowing the network to continue growing with new skills, experiences, and opportunities.
It’s a network that stays with you from your time as a student and throughout your career.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is one of our talent programs right for me? Our talent programs are designed for female engineering students who want to develop their skills, connect with companies, and gain a better understanding of working life while still studying. Each program has its own focus and target group, so we recommend exploring the individual program pages to find the one that suits you best.
How do I apply? You submit your application through the individual program page. The application consists of a few questions about yourself, as well as a logic and personality assessment from Alva Labs. We do not conduct interviews as part of the selection process. Instead, we make an overall assessment based on your application and your Alva Labs results, ensuring that all applicants are evaluated on the same criteria. Once the application period has closed, we review all applications and notify successful applicants before the program begins.
What happens after the program ends? Once the program is over, you become part of CoGig’s alumni network for female engineers. Through the network, you can stay connected with fellow participants, alumni, and our partner companies. The network grows by around 100 new members each year and provides opportunities for inspiration, sharing experiences, and future career opportunities.
Does it cost anything to participate? No! All of our talent programs are completely free of charge. We also cover travel and accommodation when needed in connection with the program’s in-person events.
Can I apply to more than one program? Yes, if you meet the criteria for multiple programs, you’re welcome to apply to more than one. Since each program has a different focus, this can be a great way to increase your chances of finding the program that suits you best. However, you can only participate in one program.
Can I get a job through the program? We can never guarantee a job, but our programs create opportunities. Since 2013, around 30% of participants have secured a job with one of our partner companies. Many have also found thesis projects, summer jobs, or made valuable connections that have helped them take the next step in their careers.
