April 20, 2026 – Applications are now open for Female Leader Engineer Finland 2026, a national talent program designed to support and accelerate the careers of female engineering students in Finland, while building a stronger pipeline of future leaders within the tech and engineering industry.
The program is organized by CoGig in collaboration with partner companies Atlas Copco, Boliden, Fortum, Stora Enso and The New Leadership. Together, these organizations aim to contribute to a more inclusive and diverse engineering industry by engaging with top female talent early in their careers.
Since its launch in 2025, the program has established itself as a platform where ambitious engineering students meet forward-thinking companies. Through company visits, networking opportunities, and leadership-focused development, participants gain insights into a wide range of career paths within the engineering sector, while building meaningful, long-term relationships with employers actively working to drive change.
“We want to create environments where students and companies can connect on a more personal level. Female Leader Engineer is about empowering future engineers with confidence, visibility, and access to real opportunities, while also strengthening their leadership potential”, says Josefin Antoun, Program Leader for CoGigs Talent Programs.
The program is aimed at female engineering students approaching graduation in Finland. In addition to the joint program activities, participants will have the opportunity to compete for the title Female Leader Engineer of the Year. The winner will receive an exclusive self-leadership program led by Anna Landegren from The New Leadership.
Applications are open until June 8, 2026. Read more and apply at www.cogig.se/femaleleaderengineer-finland
