The role: Project and Offer Quality Leader

This is a pivotal role at the intersection of quality, software development, and customer experience. You’ll play a key part in the development of Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Building Operation Software—an open, scalable platform used in large buildings globally.

You’ll work closely with product owners, architects, scrum masters, testers, designers, and project managers to make sure quality is embedded into every phase of development. This isn’t just about ticking boxes—it’s about driving meaningful improvements that make a real difference for end users.

Key responsibilities

• Champion Schneider Electric’s software quality processes, using tools like 8D problem-solving and Agile best practices.

• Lead lessons learned, manage escalations, and track software performance through metrics like SQI and defect rates.

• Ensure customer needs are captured early and clearly, especially when defining Critical to Quality (CtQ) elements.

• Provide quality input at each milestone, supporting risk management, documentation, and cross-functional coaching.

• Collaborate across departments to promote a quality-first mindset from development through to deployment.
  

What they’re looking for

• A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar.

• Several years’ experience in software development, quality assurance, or testing—ideally within enterprise or automation systems.

• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g. C++, .Net, Python, Java, etc.).

• Experience with Agile, cybersecurity standards (IEC62443-4-1), and Release Management.

• A strong communicator who thrives on collaboration and can influence without direct authority.

• An analytical, customer-centric thinker with a drive for improvement.
